Putting our money to work
Every year, we give 1% of our pre-tax profits to charity. It’s a simple way to turn our business success into practical support for our members and the communities you'll help serve. We work in partnership with national charities that share our purpose, chosen by our members and colleagues, to address bigger issues together.

Empowering survivors of economic abuse regain control of their finances and build confidence in managing their money after abuse.
Age UK
Supporting older people with advice, friendship and practical help to live independently in safe and secure homes.
Our Charitable Foundation
Since 2000, our Charitable Foundation has given £4.9 million to registered charities across the UK. Helping people experiencing hardship to access a place to call home and improve financial wellbeing.
Ways to volunteer
Getting involved in your community is part of life at Skipton. You can take up to three paid days each year to volunteer, and it can be a full day or just part of it.
Unskilled volunteering
Pitch in with hands-on tasks like sorting donations or getting involved in local projects.
Skilled volunteering
Use your skills to support people into work, boost their confidence and build independence.
Professional volunteering
Share your expertise or take on roles like Trustee to support charities in a more meaningful way.
